Back-end and Full-stack PHP Software Engineers

Our client’s partner is a leading global lending platform which is considered to be one of the best-capitalised platforms worldwide, listed on the London Stock Exchange in October 2018. In view of the company‘s expansion they are looking for a Back-end and a Full-stack PHP Developer, both to work on the development, maintenance and enhancement of their software product.

Position Details

Purpose of the roles:

Their engineering team is working in an enterprise environment, constantly improving the current code base, a standard (but cool) Symfony 3 stack, developing new features and enhancing existing ones, investigating and resolving random features on their online platform. Currently, one of their most exciting projects is migration to an elegant, sustainable and scalable infrastructure on a global scale, through: microservices, CQRS, event sourcing, Kafka, REST APIs, salesforce integration, Docker, AWS.

The ideal teammate for Back-end PHP Developer must have:

  • Proven experience with PHP 7 / Symfony;
  • Passion for coding and finding solutions;
  • The ability to work in a test-driven environment;
  • Proficiency working Agile;

The ideal teammate for Full-stack PHP Developer must have:

  • Solid experience with PHP and JavaScript;
  • Experience with MVC frameworks like Symfony, good knowledge of any of the following: Angular, React;
  • Experience with AWS/Docker;
  • Broad experience with RDBMS: MySQL, PostgreSQL;
  • Passion for coding and finding solutions;
  • The ability to work in a test-driven environment;
  • Proficiency working Agile;
