We are looking for a service-oriented employee (m/w) who is passionate about managing transportation services, with emphasis on parcels, general cargo, long goods, construction site services and project business. He/She ensures the highest possible service levels for our customers at optimal logistics costs.

What does the role involve?

You are responsible for the further development of logistics & transport services, for the cost control of national and international transports and the associated administrative and operational tasks for the Countries of BG, RO, GR and other Balkans Countries. In addition, you work on the planning and realization of transport concepts and projects within Southern Europe.
You are always up to date with innovation, analyzing the market and you are motivated to continuously implement possible improvement measures. The aim is to keep our customers’ service extremely high at the optimum costs, which is why it is important to take the feedback of customers and internal employees seriously, and to actively optimize transport costs to optimize service and productivity and to optimize costs sustainably.
Your tasks as a transport manager include the execution of transport tenders, evaluation of transport services and implementation of new transport service providers.

What you need is:

  • Completed university studies (Master / Diploma), ideally with a focus on logistics
  • At least 2 years professional experience in logistics / transport management
  • Project management skills and the ability to work together across departments and Countries
  • High social competence, team spirit and high customer orientation
  • Solid analytical thinking and structured approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Very strong organizational skills in terms of prioritizing and supporting various initiatives
  • Versatile handling of MS Office, SAP and databases
  • Excellent communication in English in spoken and written
  • Interest and will to constantly develop personally and professionally
